Description

The bright yellow flowering tree is a common sight across Punjab and Sindh. In Unani medicine, Amaltas is classified as one of the safest and most effective natural laxatives (mulayyin). Its gentle purgative action relieves chronic constipation without causing cramping or dependency. Rich in anthraquinone glycosides, Amaltas also acts as a liver stimulant, bile promoter, and blood purifier. How to use
Mix ½ to 1 teaspoon powder in warm water or milk at bedtime. Effect appears within 6–8 hours. For children: use ¼ tsp only. For liver tonic: take ½ tsp with honey in the morning. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days without doctor advice. Not safe during pregnancy.
