Description

Known as Syrian Rue or Harmal, these seeds contain harmine and harmaline alkaloids that have scientifically documented anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antiparasitic, and analgesic properties. In Pakistani traditional practice, Harmal seeds are burned for fumigation (dhuaan) to cleanse homes and protect against evil eye and environmental pathogens. How to use

For fumigation: burn 1–2 tsp seeds on charcoal and allow smoke to spread through rooms. For joint pain tea: boil 1 tsp seeds in 2 cups water for 10 min, strain and drink once daily. External use: grind and mix with oil for joint massage. CAUTION: Do not consume in large amounts. Not safe during pregnancy.
